A small, founder-led web studio — accountable for the whole job.

Kenton Web Design is a small, founder-led web studio in Lockport, NY, specialising in bespoke WordPress and Shopify websites for established businesses — bringing ideas to fruition through problem solving, focused development and direct collaboration.

I started the studio in 2003 and still lead every project personally, backed by a small team I trust. Over 23 years and 300+ projects we’ve worked with clients of all sizes across many sectors — manufacturing, ecommerce, publishing, local government, health and professional services — from a corporate sustainability hub for Meta to town halls here in Western New York.

Because one accountable person leads the entire process — planning, design direction, development, performance and ongoing care — the result is cohesive and cost effective. There is no sales handoff: you talk to the person leading the work, and when something breaks, you’re talking to the person who can fix it.

• More than 23 years of hands-on web development experience.
• 300+ client projects and 10,000+ hours of client work.
• Deep WordPress, Shopify, ecommerce, and performance experience.
• WordPress changes tested on staging and Shopify changes tested on a duplicate theme.
• Western New York-based, serving businesses nationwide.
